Historic study
The National Model Design Code, published by the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government in January 2021, defines a historic study as: ‘A mapping and research exercise detailing historical information about the area surrounding a site. Suggestions about information that could be included is provided within the context section of Guidance Note: Code Content.’
